How Your Family Can Make a Big Impact This Summer

It’s a way to get your whole family involved in giving back, spending time together (or alone), and sending kids in East Africa to college.
What is Read for Need Supporting?
All the funds raised during this summer's Read for Need Campaign will go straight to the HVG Education Fund . This fund is all about providing higher education to our kids in East Africa. We have had students go to law school, medical school, tech training schools for electrical, plumbing, art and so much more.
Education costs on average $4000/year for each student. We currently have 20 students and will be adding 7 more this year. We would love your help in making even a dent in the amount that is needed for these precious students.
This amount covers:
A year's tuition
All materials needed for school
Housing
Food
One trip home during the school year
How do I join Read for Need?
It’s easy:
Make a reading pledge (i.e 10 pages/day, 50 pages/month, or 200 pages for the summer)
Invite people to give toward your goal (email, social media, text messages, etc)
Read!
Get your family, your neighbors, your kid’s classmates and friends involved. Anyone can sign up!
