Have you ever wanted to get more involved with His Voice Global, but you weren't sure how? Watch today's video as Co-Founders Vernon and Amber Burger give you several practical ideas to get you started.
For instance, did you know that there are many different ways to simply spread the news about our work in East Africa? You can make an informed decision on your best way to advocate for our cause when you hear Vernon and Amber talk about ways others have found to be most effective. From simply telling friends in person to using our social media posts or our website to full advantage, there are many easy and effective ways to help. Stepping beyond that, we hope to arm you with information so that you can pray for us in a consistent and specific way. Also, when you are ready to travel, we want you to be aware of coming options for short-term mission trips to Kenya or Uganda as well as how you can apply for long-term work with us as a part of our staff.
A Great Time in Midland!
We had a wonderful time at our annual banquet in Midland! We gathered with a big group of current supporters and new friends to give an update on our work this year as well as a look at the future. After an opening time together, we divided into four groups of attendees who rotated through stations where our staff provided an update on one of our four primary programs, Arise, Shine, Thrive, and Alive. We called it "The His Voice Global Experience", and it was a great way to spend a productive evening with friends. A big "shout out" to all of you who were able to attend, and a big "we missed you" to those of you that couldn't make it.
