Giving Thanks

In this month of Thanksgiving, our team at His Voice Global wants you to know how very thankful we are for you, our supporters. Your encouragement, prayers, and friendship mean the world to us! Our staff on the ground in Uganda are serving faithfully on the other side of the world, but the connection you provide to "home" in the States is so important! Your support of them spiritually, emotionally, and financially demonstrates your love for them and the mission God has given us, and it does not go unnoticed.

In the same way, our domestic staff is thankful for the true friendship that we have developed with so many of you. In many cases those friendships have existed and grown over as many as 20 years, since our ministry was first started. In other cases, we are so thankful for the encouragement we receive from new friends who resonate with our vision and mission. Watch this video as Co-Founder Amber Burger shares her thoughts.

Giving Tuesday is Coming!

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that has gained momentum since it's introduction in 2012, and it provides a targeted day to remember your favorite non-profit ministries. Just as Black Friday and Cyber Monday spur people to shop effectively, Giving Tuesday has exploded onto the scene as a day of giving. Every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give!

Giving Tuesday is on November 28th, and His Voice would like to ask for your support as we seek to finish the year strong by meeting our financial goals for the year.

One of the critical programs at His Voice Global is our Alive program, which seeks to train believers in Jesus to follow Him and make multiplying disciples as they go. One way we do this is by teaching our five module Foundation of Hope curriculum throughout East Africa. We have been blessed with over 300 graduates of the program, who are then able to teach others to make disciples as well. Your gift of $50 will pay for travel, materials, and lodging for one person to attend a Foundation of Hope module and potentially change the course of a life in East Africa because of the power of the Gospel of Jesus.

A Story of Disciple-Making

Recently, our missionary team led session two of our Foundation of Hope discipleship curriculum in a town called Oraba in northern Uganda. The training was done in conjunction with a local pastor who has been a faithful partner with our Uganda missionary team, and has led his congregation to become active disciple-makers. During the training session, which is entitled "The Gospel", two ladies responded during their small group discussion time, saying the message of Jesus had "broken them". One of the ladies named Mary has been prayed by the leadership team for several months to follow Jesus. As a result, Mary and her friend have turned their lives over to Jesus, and will never be the same.

The His Voice mission team in Uganda has asked that we pray for the impact these two ladies will have for God's Kingdom, and for the many others we feel are ready to make similar decisions either for salvation or for a willingness to become active disciples for our Lord.

Thank you for your support of His Voice Global! It is a joy to serve those God has given to us with you!
