Christmas Reflections
The Christmas season is often a time of family gatherings, renewed connections, and fond recollections. It may also be a time to assess what was accomplished in the past year and begin to look forward to what's next. In this month's video, Co-Founders Vernon and Amber Burger express their gratefulness for your friendship and support in 2023 and talk about what the Lord did through His Voice Global this year. God is so good to have used you and us as He did! Vernon and Amber will also give you an idea of our thoughts on what can be accomplished in 2024 as we continue to rely on God's leadership and provision for the vulnerable in East Africa.
Giving Tuesday Report
Give yourself a hand! Your support on Giving Tuesday was tremendous!
As you may recall, one of the critical programs at His Voice Global is our Alive program, which seeks to train believers in Jesus to follow Him and make multiplying disciples as they go. One way we do this is by teaching our five module Foundation of Hope curriculum throughout East Africa. We have been blessed with over 300 graduates of the program, who are then able to teach others to make disciples as well. On Giving Tuesday, we told you that a gift of $50 will pay for travel, materials, and lodging for one person to attend a Foundation of Hope training session and we set our goal at funding attendance for 200 students. With your help, we exceeded our goal of $10,000 on Giving Tuesday! Thank you for helping us make effective disciples of Jesus!
If you missed the opportunity to give on Giving Tuesday, it's not too late! You can give online or mail a check by December 31st to help us meet our overall budget for the year and be best prepared to serve those God has given us in 2024.
Thrive Student Sponsorship
His Voice Global has started our very first sponsorship program to help our Thrive students go even further! We currently have 26 students in the program with another 18 waiting to join! It takes a village and we are asking for people to commit to donate $50 a month in supporting a Thrive Student to become one of their “Tribe of Ten!” Visit the link here and watch our up-coming social media posts to learn more about how you can make a difference in the lives of the young adults His Voice has the privilege of serving.
