HVG Mission & Vision
A few times a year we like to reintroduce ourselves and the mission and vision of His Voice Global to our email friends! So many of you have been with us from the very start and have watched us grow up, while some of you are brand new to His Voice Global. We are all in this together with hearts to see worldwide impact. A recent statistic was put out saying that by 2050 more Christians will be living in Africa than on any continent on Earth. For nearly two decades, His Voice Global has been tilling the soil throughout East Africa, raising up leaders among the vulnerable with a vision to see a stat like this come true some day! Listen as Dr. Vernon Burger, our founder, reminds us of the mission and vision of His Voice Global and invites you to join in.
Our Programs
His Voice Global Exist to raise up leaders among the vulnerable. We do this through our 4 Programs: Arise, Shine, Thrive, and Alive. These programs weave together to transform lives with a sustainable, whole-person approach.
Arise is a gathering and sending place. A place for all to come and experience community and belonging, to learn and to grow. A home base.
Shine is our integrative care program, identifying the most vulnerable around the areas we serve and offering them holistic care.
Thrive goes a step further by offering relational and financial assistance to those who are in our care that have a desire for higher education, something few of them would have the opportunity to pursue otherwise.
Alive is the backbone of all we do, our discipleship training program. As we seek to raise up leaders among the vulnerable, we seek to point them to Jesus through our Foundations of Hope curriculum, Jesus Film showings, one on one discipleship, and listening groups that meet to hear the Word of God read to them.
A New Team Member
ERIN JOHNSON
Help us welcome our newest stateside Staff Member, Erin Johnson. She has joined our staff as The Administrative Assistant to Operations.
Having a love for children, Erin majored in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas A&M University. She met her husband while serving in foster homes around Texas through Aggies for Christ. Since then, Erin has held many jobs that have prepared her for her time at His Voice Global. She has been a teacher, an administrative assistant, and served the local church through missions, children’s ministry and hospitality. We are excited to have her join our team!
